A „Maszk" a Quay fivérek legújabb animációs filmje, amelynek Krzysztof Penderecki szerezte a zenéjét. A film Stanisław Lem azonos című regényének az adaptációja. A film egy technológiailag rendkívül fejlett, mégis rendkívül feudális világban játszódik. A szépséges Duennát azért alkották meg, hogy egy bizonyos küldetést végrehajtson. "Mask" is the latest animated film of Quay Brothers, with the music composed by Krzysztof Penderecki. The screenplay is the adaptation of Stanisław Lem’s novel of the same title. The action of “Mask” is set in a technologically developed but, at the same time, feudal world. Beautiful Duenna was created in order to carry out a certain mission. However, she will be forced to choose between accomplishing the task she was created for and love.

QUAY Stephen & Timothy
A testvérpár a Pennsylvania állambeli Norristownban született 1947-ben, tanulmányaikat a Philadelphiai Képzőművészeti Főiskolán, majd a londoni Királyi Képzőművészeti Főiskolán folytatták. Nevükhöz több mint tucatnyi kiemelkedő animációs rövidfilm és egészestés alkotás fűződik.

Stephen & Timothy QUAY
The Quay brothers were born in 1947 in Norristown, Pennsylvania and studied film and illustration at the Philadelphia College of Art and the Royal College of Art in London. They have directed dozens of widely acclaimed short animated films and feature films.
